The §Yuki knot can be used to tie an extremely quick, uncomfortable single column.
It spills very easily if pulled in the wrong direction, or if there is pressure on the inside of the cuff (e.g. it carries a heavy load). It can be made secure by starting with a §daisy chain.
This knot has been referred to as the "Bastard cuff", as it is typically uncomfortable; and the "Whipper cuff", after a British rigger Jackwhipper who has popularised it.
