The Hojo Cuff is the name given to a simple inline single-column. It is based on a common cuff in §Hojojutsu, hence its name.
It is very widespread, but it is important to note that it is not secure on the incoming line. If the standing end is pulled, the cuff will collapse.
In order to secure it, you must go back the way you came and tie off to fix the distance - for example the §gunslinger harness is commonly tied in this way.
In this video, §Kaa demonstrates both the cuff known as the "Hojo cuff", as well as the other common cuff used in §Hojojutsu, which is a §clove hitch.
§Crash Restraint demonstrates this but with two closing half-hitches which are not part of the original form.
§Haven Kink demonstrates securing it by fixing the distance in the other direction
