Coconut rope is a very rough, scraggily rope which is inappropriate for standard floor play, but popular for sadistic pain rope.
Compared to normal rope, it's difficult to say what length to use. Some people find that a 1m length used as a single line is sufficient for their needs, supplementing existing ties; others cut it to 8m and tie with it doubled as they would normal rope. You don't want to be tying a §TK in this… but now I've put the idea in your head.
Some §rope sellers sell coconut rope, but as quality is much less important than with other kinds of rope, you are better off getting it from a gardening centre or somewhere similar. I have been told that it should be priced at less than £0.50 per metre.
